ART & SOUL'S COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT

Art and Soul are fully committed to living and working in a sustainable and friendly environment. We actively promote and utilise our skills and do everything we can to be green in a not-so-green industry.

Being well aware that our environment is under constant pressure our factory has implemented many strategies to ensure sustainable practices.

We have updated our digital printing presses from Solvent based chemicals to high tech HP latex inks. By using water based inks eliminates exposure to inks with hazard warning labels and high solvent concentrations, having an almost zero percent out gasses. Latex inks are odourless, creating a safer and healthier workplace for staff and the environment. Hewlett Packard Environmental, Health and Safety Policy.
Art & Soul send our hard waste rolls, surplus vinyl products to a sorting house so that is doesn’t all go to mindless landfill. This is then repurposed through paper milling facilities and aluminium smelters as our end of life policy
All ink cartridges, print heads and maintenance supplies are collected periodically, recycled and reused
We have updated our flatbed printers to the latest Canon OCE using low emission UV biodegradable inks. Creating a toxin free working environment for our team. Canon Sustainability.
LED lights have been fitted throughout the entire workshop, factory and offices, reducing our electricity footprint and giving us more realistic artificial daylight.
We have recently created a 180m2 rooftop open space for staff and clients to relax in natural environment in natural sunlight.
Our factory roller doors have been fitted with curtains, keeping the work area climate controlled as much as possible
Diesel forklifts have been replaced with battery operated ones to radically improve workshop fumes and environmental impact
We do not promote the use of bottled water and provide our staff with a filtered watering system for safe drinking throughout

With Art & Soul’s creative visionaries and our commitment to the environment, we are happy to be paving the way to a sustainable future with EnviroSign that we established in 2004 primarily for cleaner production options.

Our company EnviroSign is a certified member of the “clean up the world” campaign. We are a business partner with HP and Canon, working towards being Eco-Specifier certified and active participant in the ongoing Going Green Expo.
